Watercolor on Arches 140 lb cold press. Artistic depiction of slave quarters, stylized to describe the oppressive emotional reality of slavery. Watercolors often excel at depicting beauty. My goal was to depict the ugliness of slavery with watercolor.

I am a 63 year old professional musician (pianist) who came into the visual arts at a later age.
